With Christmas quickly approaching, this is the time I (and probably most people) start panicking a little. Every year, I tell myself I will start shopping for people early, and every year December rolls around and I have yet to buy any gifts.
How many of us can honestly say that we practice self care ever week?
Probably not enough of us.
Raising a family is so incredibly taxing on our bodies and time, and we often forget to slow down and take care of ourselves. You’re most likely running around after children, carrying babies, drinking cold coffee, with hair that’s been in the same bun for the last 4 days.
Having a baby is such an exciting time! From finding out that you’re pregnant to the day your new bundle of joy is born, everything seems like it couldn’t get any better.

I know we all want to look our best every day.
I also know that nobody wants to get up at 4 am to make this happen.
I will be the first to say it, you shouldn’t have to sacrifice your sleep for looking good. But now that I only get sleep in 2-3 hour chunks at a time, I found myself at a crossroads. Do I want to go out everyday looking like I’ve just come back from the dead?
