The Ordinary Skincare Update

A few months back I posted about testing out some of The Ordinary skincare products (click here to read my first impression) and I wanted to jump back on here and give you my update on the products I’ve been using!

My skin has gone through everything you can think of (heavy makeup, hot days, cold days, hormonal changes, etc.) over the last couple of months so it has been the perfect time to give the products a try.

The Ordinary Lactic Acid 10%+ HA

I had high hopes for this product. I used it religiously every night and I even used it on my shoulders and chest when I went through a phase where I broke out in those areas. While it does leave my fave looking very even toned and fresh after using it at night, I wasn’t blown away with it. I don’t find it combated my breakouts as much as I would have liked it too, but it kept my skin feeling smooth, which I did like. There are so many different serums from The Ordinary that I think it is just a matter of finding the right one for your skin!

The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5

This was a killer product for me (in the best way possible!). My skin has never felt so soft as it has since I have started using this. I pair it with a moisturizer but on days when it warmer out or my skin doesn’t need as much hydration, I use just this serum. I wake up with glowing skin every morning because of this product and I absolutely love it. I will 100% be repurchasing this one.

The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA

In all honesty, I didn’t have very high hopes for this product. I have tried so many moisturizers that promised to do wonderful things but didn’t, that I just assumed this one would be the same. Boy was I wrong. This moisturizer has been amazing! The cost is unbeatable and the hydration is perfect. It sits unnoticeable under makeup but leaves your skin feeling plump and hydrated, not greasy. I have been recommending this one to everyone!
